Why? Why? Why?

As a teacher, my favorite question is "Why?"  As a mom, though, hearing that question from my very inquisitive son could be rather tiring. Why?  (See?  That's a great question!) Because no answer seemed to be enough.  One answer led to another to another to another.... After a while, my brain just needed a rest, and sometimes I just needed to get other things done.

Do you have a child who asks a never-ending stream of questions?  Rather than get exasperated and frustrated (and maybe even a little irritated), try following some simple guidelines for dealing with those never-ending questions.
