Fun in the Second Week of January

I love the different holidays and observances throughout the year. They offer so many opportunities to nurture or our children's creativity and interests as well as encourage new interests.

They also offer opportunities for our children to learn about issues, people, and so much more. For instance, in the second week of January, your child can spend some time learning about static electricity, words, and the Treaty of Paris.  What's the Treaty of Paris?  If you don't know, you can learn right along with your child!
