Introversion

Introverts account for about about 30% of the population. However, introverts account for 60% of the gifted population. This introversion could be part of the reason that so many gifted kids are seen as having socialization problems in school. However, introverts don't have necessarily have problems socializing; they enjoy time alone, need only a couple good friends, and are worn out by large groups of people. Sometimes an introverted child may appear shy, but there is a difference between shyness and introversion. Do you think you may have an introverted child?
