Okay. So you've looked at a list of gifted characteristics. Actually, you've looked at more than one list. And you looked more than once. But no matter how many times you look at those characteristics, you are plagued with doubt. Maybe your child is bright, but gifted? Maybe you're just one of those parents who thinks her child is brilliant. After all, your child wasn't reading at age two or walking at nine months. If you have that nagging doubt about your child, it might help to compare your child's development with the typical development of average children. Compare the average developmental milestones with your child's development. Then look again at gifted characteristics and think again about your child's behavior!
